Milan Food Guide w/ Pandora

There is a pretty famous movie with Audrey Hepburn having the two components food and jewelry in its title: for some reason, obviously.. Let’s be real: it’s pretty easy to make us girls happy, at least I can say that for myself. It’s all about spending quality time with people I love, discovering amazing food spots – and yes, I also love jewelry.

For Pandora my girl Jecky and I tried to find the most amazing restaurants, breakfast places and ice cream spots in Milan and here are our favorites.

 Cioccolati Italiani near the Duomo

This was definitely one of the best Gelatos I’ve ever had. White and dark choclate, crazily much chocolate ice cream and fresh fruits. One of the big portions is about 8 euros each, but they’re for sure worth splurging, since stacking ice cream is just as cool as stacking rings. By the way, as you can see, we were always wearing our stacked rings differently – and they became our daily companions. The Gelateria is very close to the Duomo, but it is usually pretty crowded, so you should consider a little waiting time. Opening hours: 7:00-00:00 h Address: Via Edmondo de Amicis 25, 20123 Milano.

Café Pavé

A really good and stylish place for little breaks or even breakfast and it’s also quite suitable for working, since the atmosphere is very quiet. They serve really good little cakes, croissants as well as pizza slices and everything is quite affordable. Opening hours: 8:30-19:00 h Address: Via Felice Casati, 27, 20124 Milano.

Panini Durini

There are about 1 billion Panini Durini places in Milan (obviously I’m exaggerating, but there might be about 10) and they serve really good cake, sandwiches, a wonderful Matcha, waffles and avocado toast, especially their toasts are really recommendable. To me Panini Durini was one of the best breakfast places and not to forget, the music at their places was always really good (Justin Bieber, The Chainsmokers etc), which also perfectly helps to wake up even better. Opening hours: 07:00 – 20:30 h. Addresses: e.g. Via Durini, 26, 20122 Milano, Italien or Via Mengoni, 4 – Milano.

Bottega Caffe Cacao

A cute place for good smoothies, juices and little croissants and cute cakes. It is located in a very nice area in Milan, which is actually not as crowded as others, but which has lots of cute little stores. Reservations can only be made for lunch, for breakfast you can simply stop by. Opening hours: 8:30 – 20:00 h Address: Corso Garibaldi 12, 20121 Milano.

Pizzeria Spontini

If you’re really into cheese pizza, this might be the perfect place for you. You can basically spot the pizza place from afar, since there are the longest queues ever. There are more than 10 Spontinis in Milan, so finding one won’t be a problem. Address: e. g. Via Gaspare Spontini, 4 – 20129 Milan. Opening hours: 11.45-14.30h and 18.00-23.30h.
