Hotel Review: Grand Hyatt Berlin

As you might have seen on my social media channels, I got to spend some days in Berlin at the pretty Grand Hyatt (Marlene-Dietrich-Platz 2). It wasn’t my first stay at a Hyatt Hotel and I really adore their houses but I had not stayed at this one in Berlin before. Well… I especially learned to appreciate this Grand Hyatt for two incredible advantages: firstly, it is right in the city centre, super close to the Brandenburger Gate and only 2 minutes from all big malls. Secondly, it turned out to be the ideal place for relaxing. They have a huge swimming-pool area and a wonderful spa. During spring and summer you can even use the rooftop terrace, which has an amazing view over Berlin! But there are lots of other things I really loved about the hotel and besides that I really want the pictures to do most of the talking here…

The location: The Grand Hyatt is super close to the Potsdamer Platz, so you are right in the city centre and super (!) close to the shopping streets and restaurants! Big plus: the Mall of Berlin is only 2 minutes from the hotel.

The marble bathroom: At the Grand Hyatt Berlin you can find marble everywhere in the bathroom, they have a great rain shower and a big bath tub! Truly a dream – and nothing else needed!

The breakfast: The hotel offers a great breakfast buffet: croissants, fresh fruits, all kinds of cereals, fresh juices… I loved everything!  And of course, I ate far too much.

The friendly staff: Everybody at the Grand Hyatt Berlin was not just extremely friendly but also totally cheerful and good-humored and the service was excellent.

The Spa area and the view: The hotel has a huge spa area (called Club Olympus) with a sauna and lots of treatment rooms – not to forget, an amazing view! I truly enjoyed it, since you could see whole Berlin from the swimming pool!

The rooms: It’s so important to feel comfortable and at home, right? The rooms at the Grand Hyatt Berlin are furnished in a very modern way and they offer everything you’ll need!
