How to make this your most amazing winter ever & my Christmas decoration

Winter’s here. Days are getting shorter, it is getting colder – and this is clearly not the best about this season. It’s up to you: you can let this season pass and do the necessary like buying some presents for the 24th or can dive into it completely. Wear fuzzy socks, drink hot chocolate, listen to crazy Christmas music until you can’t stand it anymore, make cookies, read, be with your favorite people and have a crazily good time. So here is what you really should not miss out on…

1. sweater weather

Find your winter uniform, something cozy, something you love and you could literally live in. Fuzzy socks are my personal must btw! ; ) And sweaters can be so pretty! So go find the perfect one that will keep you warm when it’s cold outside.

2. be merry – and decorate and escalate.

It will get you in the mood. This year I freaked out right after Halloween, just because I wanted to. My entire home (as you see) is full of Christmas decoration. Seriously, this apartment never made me this happy. Whenever I come home, I can’t stop smiling and I am already in the right mood for Christmas to come.

3. Enjoy the tiny little moments.

„Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand, for a talk beside the fire. Winter is the time for home.“ – Edith Sitwell

So take the time for reading a book, for spending quality time with your loves, for making them happy. Spend an afternoon together, make cookies, wear fuzzy socks, drink hot chocolate and listen to some Christmas music. Sure, you may think that this is overrated but I swear having a good time in December or whenever can be this easy! xx, Anna
