Feeling good w/ Braxfashion in Berlin

This blogpost personally means a lot to me. Simply because it is very personal – and very honest. Braxfashion’s campaign with the message ‚Feel good‘ is one that I believe to be very important, which is why I truly loved this collaboration. Feeling good in your clothes and your own skin is one of the most important things ever. Well.. here are my personal thoughts about that message…littlefashionfox-brax-fashion-feelgood-louboutin-3littlefashionfox-brax-fashion-feelgood-louboutin-1littlefashionfox-brax-fashion-feelgood-louboutin-6.jpg

„Happiness is when you feel good about yourself without feeling the need for anyone else’s approval“

In times of Instagram and social media in general we keep looking left or right, we keep looking for other peoples‘ approval and sometimes we even define ourselves through their approval. There were times when I did that as well and especially during school my self confidence truly suffered when others did not approve and did not like what I did, what I was wearing or what I looked like. Seriously, don’t care about others‘ too much! Don’t keep looking left or right, ‚cause this is the safest way to become unhappy. Wear what you love, do what you like. Just be kind.

„Do good and good will come to you.“

Talking about being kind: This is probably the most important thing in this entire world. We don’t want to be judged by others and we want to be treated nicely. So we always need to remind ourselves of how important that is.

„Measure your self-worth not with the balance of your bank account but with the frequency of your generosity.“ – Haemin Sunim

I love that quote and I love that author. By the way, you guys should really read his book ‚The things you can only see when you slow down‘. Sunim is just so right. How often do we measure success in terms of having money but in terms of being generous? How often do we share? This is probably one of my favorite feelings: what you feel after you shared something. It truly makes me feel good, it truly makes me happy.

„I can’t think of any better representation of beauty than someone who is unfraid to be herself“ – Emma Stone.

Us girls are so self-critical and so hard on ourselves. We don’t see beauty in ourselves but only in others. Stop doing that. Just stop. As said before, we need to stop looking left or right ‚cause we are just great the way we are. Of course, all of us have bad days sometimes, when we can’t stand ourselves. But just remind yourself of how beautiful you are, wear your favorite sweater (my current one has stripes), put some good music on and go for a really big smile. xx, Anna
