Coffee Trends 2018/19: Absolute Origin Collection by Nescafé Dolce Gusto

Anzeige: As you might know, I really love to discover new trends, because they are always a little exciting and fun. Well… of course trends are not limited to fashion. We can find them in almost every field, even when it comes to coffee. Nescafé Dolce Gusto has lately launched a new ABSOLUTE ORIGIN collection which is available in their online shop, comprising two different espressos and one lungo. All of them are ORGANIC, which I really appreciate. Personally I love to buy organic food and it makes me happy to see that the awareness for this topic has risen. Let’s be real: ORGANIC is a wonderful trend!Let’s start with my favorite: the Absolute Origin HONDURAS Espresso. I love it that much, because it has the perfect intesity for me, which is not so strong. 😉 On their scale it is a 6. Actually it is wonderfully smooth, with notes of honey, dark chocolate and malt. Well… it doesn’t only sound pretty yummy – IT IS. By the way, the packaging is a dream. I have never seen a coffee packaging this stylish.

Another very trendy thing today are drinks to wake you up. I don’t like energy drinks, because they are very unhealthy. The Origin Peru Espresso is pure coffee – and it really kicks. The perfect one to wake you up (Intensity 8) and it comes with aromas of liquorice, subtle pink pepper and blackcurrant buds. This one tastes pretty exciting!

Number three from the Absolute Origin collection is the COLOMBIA Lungo. I really love to drink this one in the morning – with a tiny little bit of almond milk, which perfectly matches the way it tastes. The Lungo comes with notes of toasted almond, nutmeg and barley.

To be honest, all of these three have made me become a little bit more aware that coffee can taste really exciting! Have you tried them yet? And if so, which one is your favorite coffee trend? xx, Anna
