My last trip to Barcelona was way too long ago (I was sixteen back then) and when I finally returned to this city after almost 9 years, I realized how much I wished I had done that earlier. Barcelona is simply incredible and I was crazily impressed by all the beauty, all the amazing spots and corners I saw. So I decided to share my personal highlights and some little insider tipps with you guys.
This city had been on my bucket list for SO LONG. Of course we had to play the tourists and visited the typical spots that most of you will know. In today’s post I wanted to share my personal favorite moments (and views) from my time in New York City with you guys, because there were some that really gave me goosebumps. Please put these places on YOUR NY bucket list!
It was my very first time in New York and would shall I say? I had a blast – everything was totally perfect, thanks to our home away from home, the Conrad Hotel New York, a place I definitely want to return to soon. It really made me get that Big Apple Spirit, maybe you know what I mean. Besides that it was pretty close to lots of places I really wanted to see in NY, which was a huge advantage… But there were so many things about it that I really loved…
Honestly guys, this has been my first bikini shooting and I was kind of excited… I am really convinced that you have to feel comfortable in a bikini or swimwear in general and I truly did in this navy blue one by Freya Swimwear. A really good fit is a must and I don’t ever wear anything I don’t feel comfortable in. Well… this one was actually my favorite one for the beach in Miami (probably because it’s white and blue, which are my all time favorite summer colors). By the way, talking about a good fit – Freya bikinis are available in sizes B-K at some Galeria Kaufhof stores (Berlin, Munich, Cologne, Dusseldorf and Frankfurt) and of course online! Besides that the British beach wear label also has a really great lingerie and active wear collection, you can find out more about here. And you should definitely check their online shop (my favorite pieces are all from IN THE NAVY).
Well, what do you guys think? Do you already know Freya Swim? And what’s imortant for you when you buy a new bikini? Kisses from the beach. xx, Anna
Two years ago I left Florida and I swore to myself I wanted to come back and see Miami so soon. Now I am and it feels like I am having the time of my life. Miami has turned out to be one of my favorite places in this world: so colorful, huge and crazy, yet so pretty. We have been staying at the beautiful Washington Park Hotel (Washington Avenue), which is really close to the Ocean Drive…
As you might have seen on my social media channels, I got to spend some days in Berlin at the pretty Grand Hyatt (Marlene-Dietrich-Platz 2). It wasn’t my first stay at a Hyatt Hotel and I really adore their houses but I had not stayed at this one in Berlin before. Well… I especially learned to appreciate this Grand Hyatt for two incredible advantages: firstly, it is right in the city centre, super close to the Brandenburger Gate and only 2 minutes from all big malls. Secondly, it turned out to be the ideal place for relaxing. They have a huge swimming-pool area and a wonderful spa. During spring and summer you can even use the rooftop terrace, which has an amazing view over Berlin! But there are lots of other things I really loved about the hotel and besides that I really want the pictures to do most of the talking here…
I am back from Milan and I definitely had a great time. Going through these pictures, I already miss this city – and of course my babe Verena_Ahmann ! Here is a little Follow Me Around through Italy… Almost every morning we had breakfast at the super cute Panini Durini café and I can totally recommend their avocado bread, their waffles and their coffee. Basically they serve everything I need to have for the perfect start into my day and you can find their little cafés almost everywhere in Milan (e.g. Via During 26, Via Spallanzani 6, L.go Donegani 3, Via Bocconi 5 and there are many others). Also very important: their prices are totally reasonable! Afterwards we went taking some pictures, for example at this well-known Vogue kiosk (thanks to Insta), which was already my favorite spot last fashion week or of course at the uber beautiful Duomo, which is even prettier in the mornings, when almost nobody is there. Our afternoons were mostly spent at showrooms, such as the one by Pinko or the one by Coccinelle and I seriously LOVE their new collections, especially the bags – or at shows. I also loved the new Vivetta collection, so colorful and pretty! Now it’s time to pack my bags for Amsterdam, where I will spend the weekend with someone special… xx, Anna
Kisses from one of my favorite cities in Italy (besides Rome, Venice and Verona of course ): Milan! Fashion Week has been great so far, my buddy Verena and me visited lots of amazing showrooms, such as Pinko and Coccinelle or shows like Vivetta. Milano treated us well, we had lots of sunshine and no rain at all. We even took the time to do at least some touristy things like a little shopping and strolling around. This one in the pictures was one of my easy going shopping looks, I wore a leather skirt by Zara, a denim jacket by Pull and Bear (the patch on the back was a tiny little DIY project, before I headed to Milan – Im so proudly announcing that I managed to stitch for the first time – and it was a lot easier than I had thought! So it might not have been my last DIY. Well, how do you like the look? xx, Anna
Hi my loves, London fashion week has been wonderful and I realized I haven’t been sharing many posts about it yet, so I decided that I was time for a little ‚Follow Me Around‘ through London. We were staying at the Leman Locke Hotel close to Aldgate East Station. Basically the hotel was really close to all fashion week locations, so it was the perfect choice! This new hotel is such a cute place by the way! As you can see, there’s lots of pink and marble inside – I simply loved it! We also decided to do at least some touristy things, such as trying new breakfast spots, like the Palm Vaults in Hackney (411 Mare St) – and of course pretty Peggy Porschen, which is always a must (116 Ebury St) and strolling through Notting Hill, Mayfair or Kensington (seriously, I would love to live there!). As you might have seen on my Snapchat, one of the shows that we saw, namely On Off was pretty crazy and the Malone Souliers presentation was for sure my personal highlight. Unfortunately we missed out on Olivia Palermo, who came approximately half an hour after we had left. However, London Fashion Week was amazing! Can’t wait for the next one! Kisses from (currently) Milano! xx, Anna
