Hotel Review: Schwarzschmied in Lana / Italy

As you have maybe already seen on social media, I got to spend the last couple days at the beautiful Hotel Schwarzschmied in Lana / Italy, where I had the loveliest time! Before I start telling you about everything I loved, I wanted to share some facts about the hotel though!

PFW #4 Follow me around

littlefashionfox-paris-fashion-week-fma5.jpgI always had expected Fashion Week in Paris to be really special. But last week truly exceeded my expectations: it was simply amazing and I got a little bit of that ‚The-Devil-wears-Prada‘-feeling. Especially the Lanvin show was totally mind-blowing. But there were actually lots of things I loved about PFW that I had not expected or known at all. Here are my highlights: 7 things I truly loved about Paris Fashion Week!

Our third day of Paris Fashion Week started, as always, with a huge breakfast and because there was perfect sunshine for a little while, we decided to explore the city. After shooting this look we had some meetings and shows like the one by Andrew GN at the Palais de Tokyo. I really loved it, so many cool military elements. You’ll get to see everything about it soon in a big PFW follow me around. Bisous de Paris!

littlefashionfox-paris-fashion-week-streetstyle-fakefur-valentino-2Paris, mon Amour. This is already my second Paris Fashion Week look and we really had a crazy yet absolutely amazing time so far. We started the day with a really great breakfast at Laduree. Afterwards we went to see some showrooms of young designers and also went to the Pascal Millet, the Lanvin  & the Vêtements show. Lanvin was definitely my favorite one, as you’ve maybe already seen on Snapchat. Be sure that you’ll see tons of pictures soon! The Vêtments show was really cool as well and even Kanye paid a visit. Oh crazy Parisian life!

IMG_20160303_144439x.jpgGood morning from rainy yet adorable Paris! We spent our first day between rushing from one show to another and lazy breaks at little cafés with Parisian friends. Seriously, I like Parisian people. They’re so grounded but fun to hang out with at the same time. And they’re super open-minded. Besides that we did a little shopping at the Champs Élysées. PFW couldn’t have started any better!

Hotel Review: Widder Hotel Zürich

Seriously, I’ve been excited about sharing this post with you the last couple days, because we literally had the best time ever at the Widder Hotel Zürich. The hotel itself is one of the most special places I’ve ever been to and it totally meets its own motto: „Stay unique“. Before I start telling you about all the things I loved, I wanted to share some facts about it though!

The hotel is located super close to the famous Bahnhofstraße in Zurich’s center. It consists of 9 different houses and it has 14 suites and 35 rooms. But what’s really special is the hotel’s age: it’s actually 700 years old. In former times these 9 houses used to be homes of aristocrats, guild masters or merchants. The hotel’s interior is pretty special as well. All rooms and suites have been furnished individually and incorporate medieval structure as well as super modern components.

Zürich Bound

littlefashionfox-zürich-weekend-look-9xHi from Zurich, my loves! Before all the fashion week craziness is going to take over next week, we decided to fly to Zurich for the perfect weekend getaway, as you’ve probably already seen on Facebook, Instagram or Snapchat. I haven’t been here before, but the city reminds me a little of Oslo and I fell in love with it the moment we arrived. But not only the city is super beautiful – especially our hotel has proven to be a very special place, that has totally made us feel at home. In the next couple days I’ll share tons of pictures of it with you, so stay tuned!

TRAVEL: How to plan the perfect weekend getaway

We all love weekend getaways, don’t we? Spending a weekend away from home in London, Dublin, Paris, Vienna… with really good food in amazing hotels but we don’t want to spend a whole lot of money on it, right? Of course we don’t want to worry about anything, we just want everything to be perfect. Several times I was in the unfortunate situation of choosing a bad restaurant on a trip, because we were hungry and we had no other idea where to go to. Or I had no idea how to get from A to B. Actually it took me many trips to learn. But finally I did. As most of you probably know, I introduced the new CATEGORY ‚TRAVELING‘ on the blog this year. Of course I will share tons of recommendations with you soon (can’t wait for the end of February) but today I also wanted to share 6 tips how to plan your perfect weekend getaway!
