Recently returned from Tingaki and was appalled by the disgusting view from our room behind the bar in the Angela Apartments. We were looking out onto a filthy piece of waste ground with debris and rubbish.
She is the rudest Greek woman I have ever met. If you dare to go outside of the Angela to eat, drink or use another pool the pool at Angela is disgusting you will be intimidated and treated with scorn on your return. They own the Grand Salle restaurant across the road and if you dont eat there you will be treated badly. It is not a good restaurant at all and their bullying tactics will not work with intelligent people, if you want a good restaurant go to The Mediteranean or Meni Beach.
It is like a concentration camp as they have all but locked you in so that in order to leave you have to pass through the bar, snack bar and supermarket to get out of this awful place. There is a gate on the other side of the pool which would allow you to come and go without hassle from them but it is always locked so that you have to leave via the bar and shop to force you to buy something. Do they really think people are so stupid that they cant see this.
We used the pool next door in Socrates Studios it was absolutely beautiful, fab food, relaxing atmosphere, lovely Greek owners who made you feel welcome. Socrates Studio made our holiday and we would highly recommend it, it is a much higher class and standard than the Angela, there is no comparison.
We spoke to several people whilst in Tigaki who had been to the Angela and had either left or demanded their money back due to the disgraceful attitude of staff, owners and crap views from the rooms. Olympic holidays need to listen to their clients. Really sorry you had such a bad experience and hope it hasn't put you off Tigaki.
