It's cheap yet very worthy. Dun be deceived by the outer look of the hotel. The interior is nice and very clean. Basic necessity is provided. I took 1 deluxe and 1 suite room. These 2 rooms have connecting door. Both room toilets have a see thru glass door.
Shops n massage parlours are all walking distance. Do visit Iyerweng Yala Betong to watch the beautiful sunrise and river clouds. Its just abt 32km away from hotel. Go out as early as 4. After sunrise, have yr breakfast up there to enjoy the beautiful view and fresh cool air and ambience. It will definitely worth yr 4am awake fr yr sleep. Centrally located. Counter service lack friendliness.
I stayed between one and two nights at this hotel, twice. Both occasions given a double room as a single traveler. Birds chirping outside can get a wee bit noisy at times, especially at dusk.
Last visit a sort of ice cream parlor cum cafe just open adjacent to main lobby. Hotel is convenient for all things Betong. Without a doubt. The best hotel in Betong. The room is huge. Either it is standard or deluxe. The room is large. Great staff. And helpful.
The cafe at ground floor is stupendous and the lie performance at night is brilliant. No where else to stay in Betong except at Modern Thai. Clean and conveniently located. For the price there were surprising perks. Betong is not very big at all. It is right on the main road of the town.
