My last trip to Barcelona was way too long ago (I was sixteen back then) and when I finally returned to this city after almost 9 years, I realized how much I wished I had done that earlier. Barcelona is simply incredible and I was crazily impressed by all the beauty, all the amazing spots and corners I saw. So I decided to share my personal highlights and some little insider tipps with you guys.1.Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya: you will have the most amazing view EVER from those stairs and you’ll madly fall in love, I promise. It is located on a little hill and even the way up was one of my personal highlights. Up there you can even have coffee and stay at the cute restaurant in front of the museum for a little while. Here’s where you find it: Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya, Palau Nacional, Parc de Montjuïc, 08038 Barcelona.
2. The Barcelona harbour. This pretty place is perfect for relaxing, just sitting down and watching the world go by. The view is amazing, you have lots of little benches and in the shade of the palm trees you can escape the heat for a second.
3. The beach in front of the W-Hotel and the hotel itself. I have hardly seen any hotels as stylish as this one and I really loved the design of the pool area at the W Hotel Barcelona. The beach in front of it is beautiful as well: clean and again – with a great view! Here’s where you find it: Plaça Rosa dels Vents 1, 08039 Barcelona. (By the way, the way from the port of Barcelona to the W-Hotel is just perfect for a little evening stroll).
4. La Roca Village: A really amazing shopping outlet, located super close to the city of Barcelona, that we discovered by accident. The village has more than 130 stores and especially the Mango outlet was simply great! Besides that there are shops like Armani, Boss, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Etro, Gucci, Furla, Maje, Pinko, Rituals, Versace, Vivienne Westwood and many others. Here’s where you find it: La Roca Village, s/n, 08430 Santa Agnès de Malanyanes, Barcelona.
